Join us in welcoming our newest team member Dr. Elisabeth Ducoing!

Dear Crescent City Vet Friends,

We hope that you, your family and your pets are safe and healthy during this somewhat surreal situation. Everyone is feeling the impact of COVID-19 in one way or another and we at CCV remain committed to helping patients, clients and the community in any way we can. We have broadened our approach to offering services while doubling down on safety and operating procedures to minimize risk for you and for our staff.

Our hours of operation are the same as they usually are. We have closed our lobby for everyone’s safety. When you come in for your appointment, please call the front desk at 504-894-0752 and we will send a team member out to your car to get your pet. You are welcome to drop off or wait in the parking lot while we help your pet. The doctor will call you to formulate a treatment plan and after we have finished, a technician will bring your pet back out to your car.

We also offer phone and FaceTime appointments for cases that can be handled in this manner. This is an excellent option for clients that want to remain at home.

We have always offered house calls but, for obvious reasons, are suspending them at this time.

We continue to provide Boarding and Day Care, particularly for first responders, city officials, physicians and healthcare workers and other folks who are working hard around the clock to lead us through this crisis.

Food and medications can be ordered over the phone and will be available for pick-up 24/7 in our After-Hours Pick Up Cabinet which was previously on the upstairs porch but is now at the bottom of the front stairs.

We are happy to offer $10 home delivery of any food or medication to any address reasonably close to CCV.

As always, most foods, medications, and other supplies are available on our online store. They will ship directly from our distributor to your home. We thank you for supporting this local small business.

We are here for you and your pets throughout this crisis. The spirit and social fabric of New Orleans is uniquely powerful and as always, we will pull through this as a community and will emerge stronger than ever. Take care of yourself and your pets. Look out for one another, be kind, and love each other (from a safe distance!)
